How Pella gives back…

After the loss of his legs while serving in Afghanistan, former Navy SEAL Bo Reichenbach embarked on a new mission – to build his own home. His father, Don Reichenbach, a builder and owner of Reichenbach Construction, took on the task with his son and knew this was not going to be a typical home build.

“From the very beginning, I always wanted to build my own home for my family, that was a goal in life,” said Bo.

“We knew building the home would be great therapy for Bo,” added Don. “But I also recognized that we’d need to make some adjustments for it to be accessible for him and so he could live independently.”

That’s when Don decided to reach out to his local partners at Pella Windows and Doors of Montana for help.

“Don shared Bo’s story with us and we immediately knew we wanted to assist in their build,” Said Matt Lucas, local general manager. “We met with don and Bo and decided which Pella products were best suited for his physical abilities and for the home.”

Pella’s Insynctive Technology has eased Bo’s transition being home and has made a huge difference in his independence. Share this story, because THIS is what it’s all about.
